Travel Registration Process

All faculty, staff, students and community members participating in international programs sponsored by the University of Kentucky are required to complete this travel application with UK Education Abroad. This application allows the UK International Center the ability to provide the necessary health and safety support, including travel medical insurance, and academic oversight if/when programs offer academic credit.

This application is unique and exists only in a given semester, year, and geographic location. Therefore, a new application must be submitted each time a person participates on a international program sponsored by the University of Kentucky. Applications do not automatically roll over from year to year.

What is included in this application?
Participants will be asked to digitally sign documents regarding UK Education Abroad policies and procedures, such as a participation agreement, health & emergency statment, etc. Participants will also be required to submit items related to the intended travel experience such as passport information, flight itinerary, on-site contact information, etc. This application should be submitted no later than 4 weeks prior to program departure.
