Direct an Academic Program Abroad!

UK-Sponsored Programs

UK faculty and staff campus-wide are engaging in internationalization.  One important means of preparing UK students for global citizenship is through UK-Sponsored (faculty/staff-led) Education Abroad programs.  Education Abroad at UK is the administrative home of all international travel programs that are sponsored by or associated with the University of Kentucky.  

Please contact us to register your program. We also have resources to help you plan, design, budget, implement and lead academic travel programs.

Students on UK-Sponsored programs may earn up to 1 credit hour per week abroad tuition-free.

UK Consortia Programs

UK faculty may also apply to direct a program or teach in one of our consortia programs.

CCSA Cooperative Center for Study Abroad.
