Travel Medical Insurance
University of Kentucky students traveling abroad academically must have Travel Medical Insurance (TMI) coverage for the period they are overseas in order for their application to be approved. Students may purchase Travel Medical Insurance through Education Abroad (EA) at UK at the cost of $10 per week, billed through UK Student Billing Services.
This coverage is administered by HTH Worldwide. Please see the HTH Insurance Brochure (pdf) for a schedule of benefits and further information. Please also see the HTH Students website. Once enrolled and you have received an email from HTH with your HTH ID number, you will have access to the entire HTH website with information on English-speaking doctors around the world, translations of medication names, travel health information and much more.
